consecration prayer to the patron of our diocese
V.: Mother of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Mother of all redeemed, queen in the realm of your divine son, protector of the church on their pilgrimage through the centuries, immaculate bride of God, hope of those who know no way out and blame are loaded. To thee do we take refuge in this hour of darkness and choose you now and always to our advocate with Jesus, your son.
A.: In your mother's hat, we give our bishop, the priests of the diocese and the entire holy people of God, especially our youth, our children, the sick, the dying, trying all that are in danger from the path of salvation and to err to be lost forever.
V.: invoke for them the grace that they are sight, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Give not that Christ should be baptized in the darkness and light, we stand at the end of our life such as trees, which carried no fruit.
A.: calls on us the blessing of thy divine son down, let our devotion to your holy Immaculate Heart remain without response.
V.: Unite your so powerful intercession with our weak prayers for a lasting peace.
A.: Fight you for the freedom of our Holy Church, hold your hand through our Holy Father, help us, your children, keep the faith faithful to live out his spirit and his humility to the world and confess with joy.
V.: He, however, who can save us, that we do not come to the event, and is able to provide us with gladness without sin before thy glorious face.
A: the only God our Savior, be glory through our Lord Jesus Christ, your majesty, power and authority before all time now and forever. Amen.
